Price Guide

 

Celebration Cakes:

From birthdays to christening and special ocassions, our celebration cakes are made to match your theme of the celebration. Celebration cakes from our collection start at:

  • Our single tier 8 inch round serving between 20-25 guests coffee slices start from $250-$395.
  •  Our petite two tiered collection serves between 45-55 guests (coffee slices) and starts at $375 - $500.

 

Wedding Cakes:

Due to the bespoke nature of our products and services, our prices can vary and are individually quoted based on your requirements. Wedding cakes from our collection start at :

  • Single tiered cakes start from $250 (Serving upto 30 guests)
  • Average 2 tiered cakes start from $450 (Serving upto 85 guests)
  • Average 3 tiered cakes start from $745 (Serving upto 150 guests)
  • Average 4 tiered cakes start from $ 1095 (Serving upto 220 guests)

Sugar Pot offers Wedding Cake consultations. Our hour long consultation consists of design veiwing, discussion and cake tasting. 

 

Cupcakes: 

Our cupcakes range from :

  • for a butter cream finish $5-$7 each
  • for a fondant finish $7-$10 each

A minimum of 2 dozen cupcakes per flavour exists.

 

Cookies , Macarons and Marshmallows: 

Favours start from $6.00 and are available at a minimum order of 30 per design and flavour. We also offer handmade  Marshmallows. Please enquire for flavours and pricelist. 

 

Cakes designs: 

We believe that every cake has a story behind it and so it should be uniquely YOURS ONLY! We love to sketch and design a cake that tells your story and for this reason we do not copy works of others and also ask for others to respect the ownership of our original cake designs. 

 

Lead times:

We will always do our utmost to accommodate all orders; however, in order to provide you with the best service possible, we require sufficient time to design and process your commission.  The following lead-times are therefore recommended: For Celebration Cakes and Cookies 1 month, for Wedding Cakes and Favours 3 to 6 months.  Bookings are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. For weddings and celebrations during the peak-season (Aug to Jan) we recommend placing your order as early as possible, alternatively you can reserve your date with a $100 non-refundable holding deposit and decide on your design at a later date.

 

Payments and Deposits:

A 25%  deposit is required on order confirmation and must be cleared before any work is carried out. The final balance is payable 2 weeks before completion. For orders with less than 3 weeks’ notice, the full payment is required on confirmation. All payments are accepted by EFT Funds transfer only or else stated otherwise.

 

Alterations:

Where possible we will accommodate any changes you wish to make to your order at our discretion and charge you for the additional costs incurred. As wedding cakes require longer lead-times we ask that changes are made no less than 3 weeks prior to completion. Please note that any changes to your order must be confirmed in writing or by email.

 

Cancellation and Refund policy:

In the event of cancellation:

  •  All requests for cancellation must be made in writing.
  • If a cancellation is received less than 6 weeks prior to the agreed delivery/pick-up date, the aforementioned deposit is forfeited.
  • If a cancellation is received more than 6 weeks prior to the agreed delivery/pick-up date, the aforementioned deposit will be refunded less $100 administration fee. If the total deposit amount is less than $100, there will be no refund. 

Storage and Care for cakes and cupcakes:

Cakes and cupcakes will be provided in packed boxes with lids when picking up from our studio. Cake and cupcakes tarvel best on a flat surface like the boot of the car instead of the front seat or lap of a person. Boxes should not be stacked on top of each other and the lids must remain open to keep the content well ventilated. Fondant covered cake and cupcakes MUST NOT be refridgerated as this casues condensation. Storing them in room tempretature away from direct sunlight or if possible in an air condiditoned room if weather is specially humid will help keep the cake and decorations intact. 

 

Allergies:

Sugar Pot will not be held responsible for any nut allergies. All cakes COULD contain traces of nut. It is the responsibility of clients to inform their guests that traces of nuts COULD be present in the cake.

 

Non-gurantee:

Although every possible care will be taken with the delivery and set up of the cakes, once delivered the cake becomes the responsibility of clients and we cannot be held responsible for any destruction of the cake or products once they are in the care of clients. For orders that are picked up from our studio, once the cake has left our premises, it then becomes the responsibility of the client and we cannot be held responsible for any damages. 

 

Photo Usage:

We reserve the right to use any photos we take of your creation for any media related activities such as our website, blog, facebook or advertising.

 

Creative Variation:

We reserve the right to any minor alterations on the design if we deem necessary. Please note that our creations are all hand made and custom made and no two designs, even if produced by the same artist, are exactly alike.
